First renewal is CE-exempt. A renewal applicant shall not be required to comply with CE requirements for the first renewal of an Illinois license (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1470.95(a)(7)). IDFPR still requires the 1-hour sexual harassment prevention course at every renewal, including the first (20 ILCS 2105/2105-15.5).
